Keyer tube? It has been so long I don't even remember a keyer tube. I
could swear my machines ran off a loop. I also 'remembered' that the net
was on 3620Khz...

Subject: [GreenKeys] Model 28 Drive Voltage
Hi,
Back in the good old days of running 15's about the only option in
driving them was the choice between series or parallel connecting the
magnets. Both ways you pretty much needed a high voltage loop supply.
On a 28 things seem to be a bit different. The magic little vacuum tube
keyer drives the magnets so as far as I can see there is no real need
for a 60 ma / high voltage loop.
Assuming I haven't missed something so far here's the question: How low
a voltage can you reliably drive the keyer tube with?
Of course if the first part is off then the question makes no sense at
all ....
Enjoy!
