Didn't see my original post in the latest
digest, so here it is again --

I've been trying to give away several pieces of
model 28 gear for the past nearly ten years -
including listing it here on the list since the
list has been around - with no takers. Oh,
I will get folks saying they will take it right
after I post the offer, soon to be followed by
"but it's too far away/I don't have a way to haul it/
I don't have room for it" etc.

So, one last time before it goes to the dump, I
have up for  grabs in a shed  in Kentucky, out
of the weather, nice and dry, two floor model
28's, one with an RO base, one with a KSR base,
one tabletop KSR, one ASR, and maybe an extra
ASR typing unit base. I think there are even enough
typing units to go around. Some are 60 wpm, some
are 100 wpm. The catch is, and seems to always
be, *you have to take them all*

I probably have a couple cases of paper tape
too, though I know I don't have any paper.
No, I'm not going to give the paper tape away
if you're not also interested in hauling away
the teletype gear. Sorry to be that way.

Email me offlist if interested. They get picked
up this weekend by some recycling folks if no
one wants them. Don't reply if you are going to
him and haw for a couple months and then decide
in the end you don't really have a place to put
all of it, as that is what always seems to happen
and is the reason they are still there after offering
them every couple years.
