Roy,
It sounds like you have a good plan here. Be persistent and keep trying
things. I have a lot of projects to work on this weekend, but will try to
listen occasionally for you once you post your schedule.
There was a lot of interest in discussions of this project, but we'll have
to wait and see how much activity we get. I don't have the capability for
gettng on the air right now myself, but if the net keeps going there will
be some incentive for me to get what I have going. I really need to get
my 6790/GM receiver fixed.
I was quite pleased with the signal levels that I heard from your station
last weekend on 30M. I am not particularly concerned with having 24hr
coverage. If the frequency is open for a few hours a day, then it will be
useful and I was hearing you from mid-afternoon daylight hours to night
time evening hours.
Incidentally, I noticed that the HF-Pack group, http://www.hfpack.com
lists 10.137500MHz as their 30M frequency. It is interesting that no one
heard much activity there.
73,
Gary
