[GreenKeys] 30 mtr RTTY??

Good Afternoon All

Met some very nice folks at the Dayton Hamfest and we talked
a lot about RTTY. Found out about this list from them.
I was very active years ago on rtty as I had several mod 19, a typing
reperf and various other goodies and gadgets for tty.

Can not begin to tell you the number of times I got bit by the
printer magnets voltage.. :)

Anyway, I have kept in great working condition a model 28.
After meeting with the guys at Dayton, I decided to get this
back on the air.  I have a fredricks decoder for the 28.

One fellow told me that someone was sending a beacon 
in the 30 mtr band using 45 baud 850 shift.

So last night I tuned around and found a station
running 850 shift and what sounded like rtty
and looked like rtty on the MTTY screen, but I could
not get it to decode.  Tried several baud rates, 
different decoders, different modes, but never
could get what looked like a lockup of the print.

So I suspect this was another mode and I was wondering
if anyone has a thought on what that may be??

Looking forward to getting the systems back on the air.
