Hello all,

I post this message with great fear and trepidation not knowing what I'm 
about to bring down upon myself:

I have cabinets full of NOS (and some not NOS) teletype parts which 
aren't doing anybody much good as they sit.  Unfortunately, rough 
calculations indicate that the world as we know it will cease to exist 
before I have a chance to go through them all on my own machines. 
(There's a good chance that paper tape and roll paper will become 
unavailable long before that.)

These parts are mostly intended for the pre-28 series of Teletype 
equipment.  There may be some model 28 parts however so it doesn't hurt 
to ask.

I am making these available to members of the Greenkeys list under the 
following conditions:

1) I would like sufficient funds to cover shipping, packing materials, 
the actual parts and my time.  I would like to ask a $5 minimum amount 
which would include all of the above.  The amount would increase with 
size, rarity, difficulty in packing and postage.

2) The parts should be requested by the Teletype part number.  The small 
parts are filed by number and the larger parts are on a numeric list so 
I should know fairly quickly whether I have them or not.    If the 
position of the part can be easily described, I *might* be able to 
identify it from the parts manual but can't guarantee anything.

3) I have no idea how many requests this is going to bring.  Be 
understanding if I can't get to a request immediately.  Fortunately, I 
should be able to tell you whether I have something fairly fast.

This is not a business.  I certainly would rather spend my precious 
spare time working on my own equipment then packing and shipping things. 
  That said, I also want to make things available to fellow Teletype 
collectors and enthusiasts at a nominal cost.

Hopefully this will work out well for all of us.
