  Nope, it did not present as a link in this example because Roy himself
put in the extra newline (CR-LF) characters, not the mail handler and/or
mail reader.

  The <link> trick works fine, but not in this example.  Long ebay links
do OK inside <>, even if the <link> is flowed inside a paragraph and not
immediately preceded by a newline.
