OK, I should get 50 lashes for asking this question- I apologize! At
one point in time, someone e-mailed me (someone named Jack?) a
schematic for a circuit that goes between a Dovetron Tempest unit
and a PC (I don't have any heavy iron). I've looked all over my hard
drive and cannot find where I saved it, nor can I remember the file
name. (That happens when you have a couple of 100GB hard drives
and don't do much system maintenance...) Anyhow, I would much
appreciate a resend, as I never did have the time to construct the
circuit, and now find myself with some amount of time on my hands
(I recently retired). Also, how does one interface a modern solid
state rig with one of these (Dovetron Tempest)? Any tricks of the
trade? I have an owners manual, but it doesn't mention anything about
how to connect one of these to an RS-232 serial port....

Someone else mentioned that they wanted to know what software
to use with it. I read somewhere that there is a program called
RTTY.COM. I guess I'll have to look for that one myself, but I
was going to try using MFJ Multicom first to see if it will work.
