[GreenKeys] Irvin Hoff's article "Introduction to Amateur Radioteletype"

I followed the discussion on the above article (available for download 
from www.rtty.com) and the comments on the file size.

It occurred to me that by using my OCR softwre I could convert it into a 
text file which would be much smaller. I rescanned a couple pages and it 
seemed to work pretty well. Well, one thing led to another and I ended 
up scanning all 32 pages. I cut and pasted the images of the diagrams, 
but the Word file was still 800k long - a good reduction from the 
original 8 Megs - but still not as small as I thought it could be.

On close inspection I thought the diagrams were a bit fuzzy so I re-drew 
them in CorelDraw! and imported them again into Word. Wonderful! Now 
only 367k. And once converted to Acrobat a paltry 188k.

I'd be pleased if members would take a look at:

corrections or comments would be welcome. Naturally George is very 
welcome to use either version on RTTY.com if he wants.
