You are correct.  An old time RTTY operator is Forrest "Bart"  Bartlett, 
W6OWP.  You will find him mentioned in early RTTY Journals.   Bart is now 90 years 
old and still active.  I keep a weekly RTTY sked with  him as I have done 
since February 1956.  Take a look at some of Bart's  history at
