[GreenKeys] loading coils

Hi,

I suspect that between the bunch of us we can soak up all he can find.
Probably be wise not to go past a pick up truck load though ....

I would be interested in several stacks if they become available.
Here's the catch. The ones we need the most are the old style un-potted
parts. The ones in the gray plastic / ceramic crud don't lend them
selves to TU building as well as the older parts. Tuning the parts by
taking off turns or adding a winding is a *lot* easier if the part has
not been potted.

Every time we talk about getting this stuff on the air it seems to come
down to the fact that we have more Teletypes (and Kleinschmidts ...)
than TU's. This is probably even more true if we look at setting up
some sort of auto start setup.

Personally I think it might be a bit more fun to build up some of the
good old TU's than to go nuts with a full 32 bit floating point DSP
attached to a 24 bit front end .... of course the DSP might be fun as
well ....

Last time I built a more or less from scratch TU I seem to recall using
three or four toroids in front of the limiter. Then there were two or
four in the discriminator. That's the better part of a stack of parts
for each TU we build. If there are a dozen or two going to build TU's
then we need a pot full of them ....
