[GreenKeys] SELCAL - auto start proposed

Hi Stan and group,
About 15 years ago I ran a RTTY BBS on 3524 for a couple of years and it was
fun. It was commodore based and I would fire it up after coming home from
work so I could monitor it and it got a fair amount of activity from a
number of hams. The little TS120 was crystal controlled on 3624 running 1/2
power, 50 watts. I would put ARRL bulletins on it and such, plus of course,
the messages that could be left for each other.
Are BBSs out of the question anymore? I guy could bring it up and adjust
his machine (or just play around to his heart's content) then shut it down.
Just my two cents worth...I too miss the activity.
