	We went through this one earlier (in January).

	Ebay checks for languages supported on your browser and if it
finds international support it blocks you.   Apple OS X (Panther) by
default sometimes has international support installed and turned on.

	This means that my default configuration of browser (Safari on
Panther) blocks this item (with a no such item error message) whilst
running MS IE for Panther works just fine and displays the item.   Makes
me wonder what other goodies I have been missing.

	There apparently is a procedure to turn off the international
support in Panther -  haven't tried it yet.

	And FWIW I was able to order a 1280A service manual and
schematics a few months ago from the company that owns the rights to the
remains of Frederick...
