Teletype corp and the Bell System practices recommend 20 weight oil.
But I have found the best lubricant to be LUBE 1 by the Slick 50 folks.
It stays where you put it, stays clean and keeps lubricating for long
periods. It comes in a spray can with nozzle and in a regular can as
well. NEVER use WD-40.
