Dear Group:
   I am a lurker looking for some help in running a Mod. 28 RO and a 
tape punch from my computer on a closed loop for demo purposes. I 
would need a "simple" driver to possibly run off my COM port. (This 
seems to be the logical way to go.) But you guys know better.
    I have downloaded JE3HHT's MMTTY program and it seems to fit the 
bill. (I like the way it operates). Has anyone done this? Any help 
would be most appreciated.
    The RO and tape punch came out of a newspaper office. Marked 
Associated Press. I believe they are running at 100 WPM. and are 
using 6 bits. (3 on either side of the feed holes). Are the gears 
available to slow them down to 60 WPM?
