Hi folks:

I've been away for a week, but got my FCC comments in today. When mine
shows up, that will make 24 to date. That is not very many folks to
convince the FCC that RTTY broadcasting is worth allocating a sliver of the
spectrum.

Sheesh, there are only about 250 folks on greenkeys -- if everyone submits
a comment it is still a drop in the bucket. We all need to do our part!

And if you don't submit a comment to the FCC, I'll have to remove you from
greenkeys. Ok, I'm just kidding about that. Sort of. Hmm, depends on the
mood I'm in. ;-) See,now I even went and used a smiley, and I never do
that. Don't make me use a moonie ( | )

Seriously, George has put mega-hours into broadcast trials, and even more
mega-hours into this FCC proposal. Bill Bytheway too. Let's not let them
down!

Say, how do we bring this to the attention of RTTY hams that do not use
machines? There must be ten times as many of them as there are folks on
greenkeys. If anyone is on other RTTY email lists, I urge you to post a
message asap.

Time is running out!

PS: Even a sentance or two in the comment section would be fine. You
don't need to compose a short story, so don't let that cause you to opt
out. Also, be sure to have Javascript enabled before filling out the form.

thanks,

gil
