Hi list..

I used to be a Western Union Field Service Tech and have worked on many
hundreds of 33ASR's.

As I remember, that model 33 tape adapter has a bolt on plastic cover
extension and a bolt on aluminum base extension.  It should be fairly easy
to redrill and remount it or even redo the broken mounting with "splints" if
heavily damaged.

The code bar extensions are also removable, and can probably be repaired
without replacment of what is now a scarce item!

Fixing a "torn off" tape system adapter of a 33ASR shouldn't be a major
problem.
