The answerback drum has a series of "tynes"
You break them off to program the answerback identifier.
If you make a mistake, get a fresh drum.
I have no spare drums.

I think there are capacitors on the motor (from memory)
I'll dig out a manual to check.
I have a spare manual if you need a copy.
