Hi Don and all

After reading your description of the knobs I took a look at my Conar
gear (tx, rx and signal generator) . The knobs on that gear are
similar to what you describe.=20
When I had to replace a broken knob on the tx a match was found at the
local hardware store. It was a replacement knob for a gas range.
