And thanks to everyone who replied (on- and off-list).

It would be nice to find a decent receiver under $200 -- my budget is
tightening these days.  I don't know if that is reasonable or not.  I don't
really want to go with something too old (ie: big, analog-dial, tubes,
needing-work...).  And I won't be transmitting.
