Hi John:

I am the one to apologize to you. I thought you were an ebay seller
soliciting an offer, which if from a non-greenkeys person and
outrageously-priced, I consider spam. And, as greenkeys list admin, I need
to keep the spam out. I delete a lot of stuff you folks never see. If
someone joins greenkeys, and then posts messages not in character with what
we expect, I'll boot 'em off. I didn't recognize your email address, nor
did I pick up that you were joking. Ahh, egg on my face today.

Not that there is anything wrong with someone on greenkeys offering
something to sell -- happens all the time, and we all appreciate it. I've
gotten many things from greenkeys solicitations. It's a great way to keep
the equipment in the family.

And I have no problem with ebay either -- I have purchased many things on
ebay, and plan to start selling some stuff too. Ebay prices can be high,
but there are gems too. I found a rare mint copy of The Teletype Story,
bundled with some WU docs, for a few bucks. I got two M43s for $1 plus $19
shipping. I found various other tty mavhines and parts, have built a nice
collection of tty manuals for a few bucks here and there, and I have found
a lot of great old computer stuff, and test equipment. I love ebay.

thanks for understanding,

gil
