Subject: Seeking service manuals for 35-KSR to borrow/buy (Boston area)

Does anyone in the greater Boston area have service manuals for the
35-KSR that I might be able to borrow (or buy)?

I guess this was wishful thinking... There goes my plan to dilligently study
the service manuals before asking anyone for advice... But it can't hurt to
ask...

If there is some kind and knowledgeable soul out there who wouldn't mind at
least getting me started troubleshooting my in-pretty-decent-shape Model 35,
I'd be mighty obliged, and I'd do what I could to return the favor. {I sure
hate to see vintage machines collect dust; my wife hates it too :-).

FYI, I bought the unit along with a 28-KSR from a New Hampshire antiques
dealer who says he was hired to clean out someone's house, and found the
teletypes in a room along with a bunch of ham equipment. Perhaps it's no
surprise then, that the 28 powered right up and started a-clattering, but
the 35 was DOA with a blown main-fuse--anti-8-bit-ism?

BTW, I do have a complete set of manuals for the Model 28, and gee if these
machines don't look strikingly similar inside...
