Gil,
Likely a dumb question, but are you using LSB to tune the ham RTTY signals??
Military (and the 10 meg military gear guys use USB, but ham is all LSB.
That could account for your receiving ARRL on .097.   MMTY will probably
tune a "reversed" signal.  Just a thought.
