Military RTTY monitor scope model OS-11/FCG-5. It was made by Waterman =
(of "Pocketscope" fame) for Teletype Corporation. It is a gray, 19 inch =
rackmount using about 5 inches of rack space. The CRT is a 3RP1 and the =
rest of the tubes are 12AU7, 12AX7 and 12AT7 types with the sole =
exception of the 2X2 HV rectifier. The unit looks very good or excellent =
and it all original including the bottom cover. I was able to get it to =
give a trace which looked normal. But I did not test it any further than =
that. It has vertical and horizontal amplifiers and a sweep circuit. The =
sweep seems to be working. Below the amplifiers are pin-jacks for =
inputting vertical and horizontal signals. I did not try these inputs =
and I am guessing that the amplifiers only do anything when these inputs =
are used. The only other connector is an SO-239 coax connector on the =
left rear chassis top next to the Teletype logo plate. I didn't try =
anything in that connector either. So it may not be perfect but it =
doesn't smoke and does have a trace. As-is. $109 OBO
