Jack, I still have my homebrew W2JAV t.u. here, along with a W0HZR
phase-shift oscilloscope on the same chassis. I built it while in high
school back in the early 1960s when I was WA2IKT and ran an FRXD3-EL and
Model 26.

If you'd like I can send along a JPEG or two to you or anyone else
interested in seeing it.

Jack, you brought back memories. I built my TTL-2 when I was 18 as well
and was in college at Auburn University. I had been struggling with a
WA2PAT demodulator and was impressed with Irv's series of articles in
QST. The TTL/2 was the most ambitious homebrew project I had ever
undertaken. It was a supper demodulator and I dearly wish I had never sold
it.

I really miss those days.

I saw that Irv Hoff is now a silent key. When did that happen? I knew Irv
well but had lost track of him over the years. How did he pass ?? He was
one of the biggest contributors to the RRTY hobby and a great guy.

Roy, K4EEG
