Gil,

That preliminary spec sounds fantastic.  What a super interface that would 
be.  I would vote for using "ZCZC"  and  "NNNN" for the SELCAL.

This interface would dramatically increase the use of mechanical machines, 
I believe, because it eliminates so many of the inconveniences.  You could 
count me in on at least two full kits; maybe four.

Thank you so very much for undertaking this project.  In the truest sense 
of the word, you would really be helping preserve the use of mechanical 
teletype machines for generations to come.
