A review of the introductory text to the book has this:
The Model 26 was released when they were found to be a bad deal for 24
hour-a-day news
operation. They are dandy for ham work, but are bit light to leave
unattended for weeks
on end. This model, like the old Model 12, is a page printer where the
paper moves past
a fixed typing unit, like a typewriter. The 26 has a small type wheel that
spins to the
right letter and then bangs it against the paper, something like the kiddy
typewriters.
It's an interesting book ("Ham-RTTY", 1963) with numerous photographs and
schematics,
but clearly their description of the Model 26 isn't consistent.
The bibliography in the back of the book lists a reference related to the
Model 26:
CQ Magazine, February 1960, page 75
"Transistorized Electronic Keyer" (for the Model 26)
>AND NOW the BIG question, what the heck is a Model 21 ?
I wish I knew. The book mentions the model but has no details.

Dan
