I don't know if I'm having problems with my e-mail or not.
But, I wouldn't invest any time or money in one of those things. I was a
technician for 6 years on those things. I can sum it all up in one word,
CRAP!!!!! They are dot-matrix, bi-directional printing. Go figure, in
todays technology, we were buying/using dot-matrix.
Anyway, I had nothing but problems with these. I call them the "tears of
sorrow" printers. They will do you no good and will empty your
pocketbooks, and try your patience. And that takes into account if you can
even find parts. When you are submerged 400 feet under the pacific and out
in the middle of no where, is not the place to be when your printer dies,
and it died quite often.
We had a primary printer, High Speed Printer. Now that would be something
to have. It's as big as a computer box and literally throws messages out
in reams of paper.
Stick with the known mechanical items, 15, 28, etc.
O.K. I will get off my soap box now.
