Two Odd Ones For Sale

Homebrew PP-812 RF deck driven by an 812. This beautifully-made RF deck
rivals
anything you've seen in the back of RCA tube manuals or in QST. It uses all
first quality components including a massive Johnson edgewound coil in the
final
and National ceramic coil forms elsewhere. The wiring is bus-bar style like
an 
ancient 3-dialer broadcast receiver. The chassis is steel and it has gotten
a bit
grungy over the years. But there is no rust and the thing is so impressive
that
nobody notices the grunge on the chassis. 1/4" phone jacks on the front
apron
of the chassis for metering. There is no front panel. It has one complete
coil
set which I believe is for 80 meters. There is no power supply. This is just
an RF deck. $200 OBO

Magtrol 4610 Power Analyzer. This box was used for dynamometer testing of
motors,
I think. You can go to the Magtrol site and see what their power analyzers
are 
used for. This model is about 15 years old. It is all solid state with LED 
readouts. The idea is that you plug the device under test into the Magtrol.
It 
reads the input voltage and current drawn and calculates (and displays)
watts
consumed. I was thinking that this would be ideal for testing boatanchors--
bringing them up on a variac. But the display is intermittent. I can tell
that 
it reads the voltage correctly because the over-range indicator goes off
when 
a voltage range is exceeded. But nothing useful is displayed. It sometimes
tries 
to run the display but the numbers displayed are not correct. Mostly the
display 
stays dark. Great opportunity to test your trouble-shooting skills. AS-IS.
