Haken,

The military Dovetron, the "Tempest" model, has BNC connectors on the
back and one of them is labeled "PTT". The "standard" Dovetron has
RCA jacks in the back: there are four RCA jacks that are labeled "remote".
If you
check the schematic, you will see that the "send-receive" switch has
contacts
that appear on several of the "remote" jacks. You can also remotely put the
unit into "standby" through those jacks.
