Good evening,

Can some of you historians take a look at this text by Tom Jennings and
tell me how accurate it is?

    http://www.wps.com/texts/codes/index.html

I ran across it some time ago, and haven't had time to look it over. He has
some other files on there; if you just chop off the last couple of sections
of the URL, you can walk up the document tree.

The last document I sent is at:

    http://www.textfiles.com/directory.html

in the computer section. When I posted it, I didn't know that the author
was one of us. There is another file on that site, sent in by a Jim Hayes,
that claims to be a history of the Morkum Company written by Howard Krum.
It can be found at:

    http://www.textfiles.com/computers/teletype.his

It is amazing what you can find on the web just by wandering through random
links. And if either Tom or Jim are on this list, I apologize for not
checking with you before posting the links.

Thanks,

Bob McConnell
