Group,
I just rejoined the list after a year and a half's absence (and an email
change). All of the hardware that I have actually worked on, owned and/or
played with is M28 and earlier. I have some AN/TGC-14 manuals (USMC
TM-03315-15 & SL-4-03315A) which covers the only Mite printer that I had any
info on.
AN/TGC-14(V) consists on one TT-297/UG (KSR) in either a Tactical or
Non-Tactical case, with or without shock mounts. AN/TGC-14A(V) is the same
except for having one TT-297A/UG. The differences are that the base model is
7.42 Unit and the A is 7.0 Unit. Both have three-speed gear sets for
60/75/100 WPM. Both include Keboard TT-318/UG. Both can be supplied with
either a PD-82/U (115V/60Hz) or PD-83/U (115V/400Hz) synchronous motor. No
mention in the manual of a 26 or 28VDC motor. According to the manual, the
sets can be patched for Simplex, Full Duplex or Off-line Local operation.
Dimensions in the Tactical case are 16-3/8"W x 8"H x 19-1/8"D.
Can someone similarly describe TT-298/UG and TT-299(*)/UG?
Regards,
Robert Downs
