I will try to get in touch with Jean Chabot. I live about l0 miles
north of Woodbridge, NJ so it should not be too difficult. I'll try
calling him during working hours. I have schematics of nearly all of
the telephones that were in use in the Bell System in 1945 and of
course a phone often stayed at the same location for 20 years in
those days. Of course in those days nearly every phone used a
subset which was the black box on the wall. It had the ringer and
induction coil (transformer) in it. The only part in the telephone
was normally the transmitter, receiver and switchook.
It will depend on what Jean actually has.
