Don,

I have one "Q 1" keytop for you. Looks like most of my
14/15 keytops are from "conversions" (fractions or weather
symbols to comm. type), so I don't have many of the non-conversion
candidates.

The part number for the Model 14 platen is 95476..but, this is
the entire metal assembly w/insert. The "insert" is plastic and is
part number 103538. It seems there used to be a brass insert, 111602,
that was held in by a setscrew. They changed the "pocket" for the
insert and added a shoulder. The addendum that lists this change
is dated March, 1949 (I was 2 years old). The plastic insert just sits in
the
pocket, just like my small piece of 1/4 wood dowel. I was surprised
that the insert is actually plastic and not rubber. But, I guess with
the ribbon and the paper tape as a buffer, the plastic
makes sense. That might make replacing it a lot easier. I probably
have some 1/4 plastic rod somewhere in the "junkbox". But, if you
do happen to find the real thing and can spare it, I'd be forever
grateful.
