The ability to print banners in the mind of H-P is that the printer 
is mechanically capable of feeding a long piece of paper.  However, 
you must have a program that can handle the software requirements as 
the normal H-P drivers do not have banner capability.

EPSON on the other hand does have banner (custom) functions in their 
software for some of their machines.  I have a 1520 here that does 
banners.  The only problem with EPSON printers is that the ink 
cartridges are relatively small and the printer has to go through 
many noisey girations before printing.

If memory serves there are some third party vendors that have "banner 
software"  I think AVERY is one of them.  You might visit a large 
office supply store and read the packaging.
