A while back I remember seeing a query on the reflector
asking if anyone knew where one might acquire colored,
cloth-covered wire to maintain a look of authenticity on
a TTY unit they were re-wiring. Forgot who posted the
request, but I happened to stumble on a source.

The 2002 Antique Electronic Supply catalog (phone: 800
706-6789, fax 480 820-4643, e-mail www.tubesandmore.com)
has a good assortment of covered wire in a variety of
sizes and colors. The catalog is worth having on its
own - a good book selection and lots of boatanchor
replacement components.

As of Saturday PM I finally got my Model 15 "project"
fired up and copying quite well off the air. It took a
couple of hours of operation for the parts to loosen up
and print as designed. It still adds a space after every
character, but I suspect that is a matter of an
adjustment or freeing a remaining stuck part. Time to
get the manual back out.

Anyway, hope the source of wire helps someone.
