Not that I am entertaining thoughts of moving back to Chicago, but I was
thinking last spring how all those people retired and then moved from
Chicago to a warmer climate - and how in fact the climate in Chicago
wouldn't be so bad if you were retired, because you wouldn't have to
go out and shovel the driveway and go to work through the ice and snow.
You could just sit in by the fire and watch it all out the window.
(This being written as I am quite literally snowed in right now - was
too lazy to move my truck up to the flats before it snowed this morning,
and now it won't go up the hill even in four wheel drive.  Of course in
about two days it will all be over.)
