Gil, Keorosene in an atomizer will cut most crusty gunk. Use lacquer thinner in an atomizer to get rid of any remaining residue. If done thoroughly, there will not be any residue (or lubrication) after the application of the lacquer thinner. Relubricate thoroughly before running the machine. Regards, Frank Kamp
