[GreenKeys] RTTY still alive?

Hello. After having had to have them in storage for almost 10 years, I =
have been able to bring my old model 28, 28asr, 19, 32 and 33 back home! =
I started with the 28, and cleaned it up really well, got everything =
oiled, and wired up the loop and my TU. At 9:00 pm the other night I =
copied the ARRL bulletin beautifully. My problem is, is seems like =
there is no one on! I'm not going to start refurbishing all these =
machines if there's no one on. Is it just this lousy sun spot cycle =
we're stuck in? Are there any more nets? I've been listening on 20 and =
75. I live up in the Boston area, and I've never heard anyone (lately) =
on 75. I just listen to the bulletin there. I heard a couple of weak =
stations on 20....but that's it. =20

How about news broadcasts? I figure that the "big name" news =
organizations are using the internet now, but how about some smaller 3rd =
world countries, and they still using rtty? Are there wx services still =
sending out info? =20

It's like I went into a time warp when I packed these things up....I get =
them out and dusted off and there's no one to listen to. I'm bummed.

Any help, thoughts, suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks
Jim KA1EUI
