         Baud_shim was the answer to one of my projects (saved me
from having to hackup a special 'C' program, which is a real headache
for me!).   I can use Hyperterm, use baud_shim to set 50 baud, then
output a binary file (using "send text file") to get raw data out w/o any
cooking, processing or interpreting.  Just had to loop DTR (20) back
to CTS (5) and DSR (6) and everything worked fine.
