This is not a "key" but rather a 5-level tape splicer. If you have a tape machine that punches chadless tape (the "toilet seat lids") you can used this gadget to splice tapes that have at least 5-6 LTRS characters punched. It over lays the LTRS sections and punches through the interlock them. Of course, if you practice, you can get your TD to do the same thing. Not many of these around (I have one already).
