The Teletype lubrication manual states that the motor units should be 
greased every two months using KS7871 Grease.  Any good lithium 
grease should do it.  You need a pointed nose grease gun or a point 
adapter for your Zert gun available at RV and hardware stores and 
some auto parts stores.  Made by Lubrimatic.  You also need to grease 
the driving gear and make sure that the machines screws mounting the 
motor unit are tight.  There should be just a perceptable lash in the 
gears, not too loose, not too tight.
