That was the subject of much discussion on another list server I subscribe
to.
One opinion is that a list server is for public use and replies should go to
everyone.
Another opinion is that it's nice to have an extra step to reply to the list
to prevent the very real possibility of messages being posted that were
absolutely *not* intended for broadcast.
Personally, I lean towards the second opinion. (after having made that
mistake numerous times)
