A note to the list:  I would normally take these sort of responses off the
list at this point, but since the list software is new, and traffic is
light, I am going to let some of these go through.


Hi Paul:

Yeah, I'm hard at work too.

Strange that you can see an echo with tx/rx jumpered, but do not see an
activity led flashing -- I presume the led is connected to the 232 tx line,
and flashes properly with rttyart.  The led should light when the tx line
is in the space condition (positive voltage).  45 baud has very fat bits,
and you should see them even if chars are spread out (I don't think they
are in HM).

Do you have a scope to look at things properly?  Interface schematic to email?
