When I was 15 years old (40 years ago) I got a Model 19 from Selectronics in
Philadelphia, PA. I also bought two cartons of 11/16th-inch tape ("oiled
1953"). I still
have some of that tape in 10 roll boxes!!! Of course,
over the years I was able to pick up a roll here, and a roll there, so the
1953 tape stayed nice and snug in its boxes.
