Thanx to all that answered me so quickly.  My terminal unit was in fact a
W2JAV.  I built it in a 2 bedroom apartment just after I was married.
Metal work and all.  Married in 1957, so it was built on the bedroom
workbench in about 1959.  Still married to her, (WB9JHL).  Gave up
metalwork.  I have a polaroid of the station.  I think I had a 14 (?), 15
and 19, and the W2JAV and a Hallicrafters HT32, and a Drake 2B.  I had a
friend with AT&T long lines that got me all new typefaces, sync motors,
paper, tape, and ALL the BSPs, crank, platen, etc.  Thanx again.  I just
retired from 35 years in my own two-way business, but I think I had more
