Don,

I have auto CR and LF on a 15 and a 19, just as the
other gentleman explained to you. It really comes in
handy. When I was active in MARS we used a shorter
line length and the EOL protocol was CR CR LF LTRS,
in order to insure sufficient time for the carriage to make
it back to start the next line. When on ham bands I just
let the auto CR/LF do the work and most on the nets
either also had those features or would crank up a line
by hand as well as hit the CR release if needed.

BTW, I sent something very unusual to Gil; it is a "universal"
function lever that is field programable.....there are saw cuts
with the tabs between them still in place, so you just break
out the ones you need to get whatever function you need.

I can scan one and send pic if you like, or perhaps Gil has
scanned his. I only ever had 3 of these, and I have never
seen them listed in the TTY Corp manuals, but one of the
3 has a part number on it that looks like TTY Corp...perhaps
a mil contract??
