Use a military PP-6224A power supply that has the 24/28 volt output and you
will be happier. you can get them for about $90 on e-bay occasionally.
the PP-6224A has a meter on it for amps and volts and is selectable from the
front panel, as to which one you want to monitor.
I run all the military goods from the 6224A/B supplies and never have to
worry about the 50 cycle routine that will ultimately burn up a motor over
time. Most military supplies run on 108-220 VAC @ 27 to 400 input due to
bad power conditioning around the world and to incorporate versatility.
Have Fun!
Warren
