Thanks for the backup.
I was not invovled in that change, as I was not in the workforce
yet.
Well, let me ask you, then, if you recall, did you also have to change
the mainshaft gear? And now that I ask that, I just cannot remember
if the mainshaft fiber gear can be changed without pulling the
mainshaft gear off the printer unit.
I realize that pulling the mainshaft is not a big deal, but properly
realigning it took some care. It has been over twenty years since
I touched a M-15 and I don't have any manuals here with me.
Ah, such memories that endure, but where did I put my glasses a
minute ago!
