That goo is tuff to deal with, i soaked my parts in laquer thinner for a =
few days and was then able
to remove it.  I wonder is a paint stripper with methelene chloride would=
 work?
I found some comercial equipment that had feet on the bottom that also =
disolved into the same gray
goo.
