Verified- I tried it in Netscape 4.79- doesn't work. I absolutely refuse
to upgrade to Netscape 6.0 or above because they slow my machine
down too much. BTW, I'm running a P-4 1.4GHz processor on an
Intel motherboard. I have Microsnot Internet Exploder 5.5, and it
appears to work OK in that. The website did ask me to allow it to
install something related to Microsoft Power Point, which I did. I have
to admit, I'm sure some very hard work went into the multimedia display,
and I enjoyed what little bit there was immensely! BRAVO!!! GREAT SHOW!!!
One more thing- I am on a cable-modem connection. Those with modem
connections may want to steer clear of multimedia internet demos- it took me
about two minutes. I imagine a modem connection would have taken, lemme
see, 1,000K connection times two minutes....most modem connections seem to
run (on average) about 4K during extended downloads....well, you do the math!
I don't have that much patience unless I'm running RTTY! <GRIN> Unless my
math is wrong, I come up with about 16.6 hours of download time!!! As much
as I enjoyed the show, I can find some other things to do than sit in my chair and
wait for it to load...but then, this time can be spent on antenna projects, time
with the family, etc. So in my "opinion", I guess, all told, it's probably worth it!
Maybe we can convince the author to save the show on a CD for distribution to
paying customers??? I'd buy one for $10.00 for a complete tour! (And probably
pay extra to lose the violin <JUST KIDDING!!!>.) The show, including the
violin, was impressive!
